The Alentejo is one of the main hunting regions and where there are many tourist hunting areas and hunting associative. Practicing shooting is a great reason to spend a weekend with a group of friends, especially when this weekend is in Elvas, this beautiful city of Alentejo with great gastronomy and much to see. Elvas is located in a region with a very varied birdlife and is a good starting point for exploring the Alentejo interior. The landscape comprises agricultural and forestry land, but here too a good batch of waterfowl occurs, many of which are rare within the territory. Even when visiting the historic area, it is usual to see rare birds such as the white swift that appears during spring and summer.

Elvas has two excellent water plans, in Caia and Alqueva reservoirs, for water sports.
